Programs: Fall 2026 & Winter 2027

 

*Parent Participation Required

A 1.5 hour gathering where youngsters and their adults come to engage in slow paced, open-ended play and art exploration. We come together for a story, songs and connection before heading off on a  group forest walk (ride or roll). This is a great way for parents, children, grandparents, caregivers to gather, make new friends, decompress and enjoy the peacefulness of the forest together.

No class February 15 due to Family Day.

1 child: $132 total
2 siblings: $237.60 total first child: $132
second child at 20% off: $105.60

*limited spaces will be available as there will only be ONE Winter Hatchlings program. I will add more come the Spring term.

*Drop-Off Program (flexible)

Nestlings is a Pilot Program for children ages 3.5 to 6 years old and is inspired by the BC Early Learning Framework. With a ratio of 1:6, we offer a playful outdoor program where children have ample time to explore and engage in nature, where relationships & connection come first. We take risks, enjoy process art, work as a team and follow the child's sense of wonder and curiosity. 

 

FALL 2026:

Session 1 (Sept. 25 to Nov. 6)

WINTER 2027:

For Winter 2027, Nestlings will run as a 6-week Friday program from 11:00–1:30, beginning in early February. The slightly later start and shorter 2.5-hour session are designed to make the most of the brighter, warmer part of the winter day.

6-week term: $270 per child

Start times may shift by approximately 15–30 minutes during the term depending on winter conditions, daylight and warmth.

Winter registration opens in November.

A playful forest program for children, suitable for both Homeschool and non-homeschool families wanting their child to attend small group forest play and learning. We value risky play, process art, messy hands on learning and we prioritise connection, relationships, respect and kindness.
